    Webinar Reviews:

I just wrapped up listening to your webinars on the CTT site and wanted to say a very heartfelt thank you.

Your ideas and thoughts were very awakening. There were several times when felt jolted by the truth and common sense of what you were saying. I especially loved your interaction with guests. Your answers were poignant and creative, and I think you helped those struggling parents tremendously.

I hope that you will continue to do more of the webinar format. Now that I have found CTT--FINALLY, I am eager to learn more.

Thanks for all you do and share.

This first hour is subtitled HOW TO SEND YOUR HOMESCHOOL STUDENT TO COLLEGE.

Steven's guest this hour is Greg Lampard , a friend of Connect The Thoughts , who serves as Dean at a private college—College America.  Located in Colorado, they're very interested in homeschoolers attending their college, and have set up free resources to assist in that effort!  Listen to this great hour of discussion and get TONS of info on sending a homeschooler to college!  Then take a look at some of the links below for specific help in the testing required to send a homeschooler to college.

Our very good friend Greg Lampard passed away on February 13, 2012.

I knew Greg for the past four years. He was profoundly interested in children and their welfare. Greg was generous with his intelligence and wisdom, and just this past November did this radio interview regarding how homeschoolers could go to college. He did the interview all the time knowing he was quite ill, and perhaps did not have much time left, but this was a service he wanted to offer. His patience, humor, and deep knowledge was in good effect on that day, as was usually the case. We'll make sure that many more people hear what he had to say. Greg was a fine and deeply worthwhile man, and he will be missed.

    Webinar Reviews:

We listened to the Webinar today as a family. We absolutely loved it.

I have a kinesthetic learner and really appreciated the caller and the advice you gave regarding tailoring education to the child as well as the message of "not every child needs to be good at nor exposed to every singe subject". It helped release me from the clutches of the 'tape in your head' you both mentioned. Thank you!

As an aside, your endorsement of 'no homework for homeschoolers' has erupted a battlecry from my children, lol. I recently began assigning homework when they don't finish what they were assigned within the school day. I may (with some resistance) reconsider this. They love you Steven!!! No homework, no home work (said in the classic 'Attica' cadence). Feel free to add in the sound effects of the rhythmic fist pounding on the table as they chant, lol.

Great Job!

    Webinar Reviews:

Thank you Steven for the podcast yesterday. I was one of the brave souls that called in concerning my 11 year old son.  The opportunity to be able to speak with you and explain my concerns about homeschooling was very comforting for me. Sometimes I second guess myself and need the reassurance that everything will be ok.  Thank you for all your concern and advice, you were very helpful. My son will start the creative writing class tomorrow. I explained to him what you said and he agreed to start it. The entire podcast was very helpful for me, I even listened to it again today.
