ABOUT THE UPPER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Upper School
is for students ages 11-adult.
To find out about our Upper School Program, we suggest that
you first
watch the video found towards the top of this page.
Then, read this article. After that, take a look at
each of the subjects that you may be interested in for this
level of curricula. You'll find links in the column to
the right, as well as up in the menu bar that runs across
the top of this page, when you pull down Upper School.
You may wish to look at the courses you're interested in, as
each is described and has a sample provided.
Please note - Many of the required films or music used in courses have links provided so that there may be no need to secure them. However, we cannot guarantee that all the links will be "live" or active when you use them. You may need to secure films or music in other ways. No film or music selected is very hard to secure. Any book required will need to be secured by you, though a great deal of reading material built in to the courses (such as The Story of Mankind) is built directly into the courses and so do not need to be secured.
The Program consists of courses in study essentials, history, science, creative writing and the arts. A dedicated student would be able to complete their studies in 4-5 years, doing the entire program, including electives. The curriculum takes the student to levels far in excess of current high school standards.
