The Third Course in a Series of Ten

This is the third course in our Parent/Tutor/Teacher Program.   As is true of all the courses in this program, you will need the book Poor Cheated Little Johnny, to do this course.

Every nation establishes standards for education.  These standards are incredibly destructive of the individual student and his potential.  In this course, you'll learn about national standards, what they are, and why they don't work.  You'll also learn how to establish personal standards for education for your students that will allow them to truly win.  These standards run the gamut, covering areas we sometimes don't consider carefully when deciding how to educate our children.  Such topics as the student's workspace, the use of homework, and the subjects to be studied, are all covered.

National standards are insideous.  We are told that "experts" generate them, and that they work.  This is a lie, as you may already know from the number of drop outs from public education in your city.  We can do better, and it starts with an understanding that no standard can be applied across the board.  Each student is unique, and requires their own goals, methods, and standards if they are to truly succeed at receiving a useful and desirable education.  How to do this?  The course walks you through the development of standards for each individual student, step-by-step and idea by idea.

When first presented, we offered the first course 'The Goals of Education' for free as way of introduction to our Parent/Teacher Program.  Though the video may state that the course is for free, it no longer is available for free.  Thank you!
