ABOUT THE LOWER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Lower School
is for students ages 9 to 10.
The Program consists of courses in study essentials,
history, creative writing, science and the arts. To
discover more about this program, please watch the video
you'll find at the top of this page to the left.
You'll also find links on this page to each subject we offer
for this age group. The links will take you to pages
explaining how we teach that subject to this age
group. Each page will have its own video with a more
detailed explanation. There are also descriptions and
samples of each course that we offer.
Please note - Many of the required films or music have links provided so that there may be no need to secure them. However, we cannot guarantee that all the links will be “live” or active when you use them. You may need to secure films or music in other ways. No film or music selected is very hard to secure. Any book required will need to be secured by you, though a great deal of reading material built in to the courses (such as The Story of Mankind) is built directly into the courses and so do not need to be secured.
Lower School if done in its entirety should take around two years, assuming a normal school schedule (at least 4 hours per day, about 180 days of study per year).
