LOWER SCHOOL ARTS — BASICS

Arts are often sadly neglected in education today. Schools "can't afford" art programs, that's been their woeful cry since the 70s. Yet the arts are unquestionably necessary to any thriving civilization.

At Connect The Thoughts, we're not quite ready to give up on the arts! We offer extensive programs in Music Theory Music History; Art's History (at the Elementary level); and each designed for home school use. These highly creative, detailed courses provide an education in depth, with an eventual eye toward the creation of professionals. They should generally be done in sequence by the student interested in that art form.

ART BASICS COURSES OVERVIEW

We offer courses in various arts, including Animation, Writing, Acting and Music. But there is one course that ties all art together, and that's our Artist's Basics course. This course explains the qualities that every artist needs to succeed, be they a dancer, singer, musician, painter, sculptor, actor, composer, poet – you name it!
